Bored of the rock music landscape of the time, KICKIN VALENTINA set out to play rock n roll the way they wanted to hear it … .stripped back to its foundation, 100% live, loud, and unapologetic, with a take it or leave it attitude. In August 2026 KICKIN VALENTINA will release their new full length album “Anthems from the Underground” worldwide via Mighty Music/Target Group. The album was recorded and produced by Pete Newdeck (Tony Martin of Black Sabbath, These Wicked Rivers) in Atlanta and mixed at his studio PNProductions in the UK. Mastered by Harry Hess at H-Bomb Mastering in Toronto. “On this album we decided to bring in a different producer. We love everything Andy did on our previous albums, but creatively we thought it was time to do something different and have someone push us out of our comfort zone. Every record we want to grow as a band and I think Pete brought out the best of us individually in the studio. When we were trying to decide on an album name, DK and I were leaving the studio one day kicking around ideas. I told him I thought we should embrace the fact that we were an underground band and pay tribute to fans that support underground music. After kicking around a few ideas back and forth, Anthems from the Underground was born.” States Bassist Chris Taylor.

KICKIN VALENTINA formed in 2013, and the band quickly gained attention in the U.S. and abroad. They were immediately picked up by Atlanta based indie label Highway 9 Records and released their debut self-titled EP in October 2013. In August 2015 KICKIN VALENTINA signed with Danish hard rock/metal label Mighty Music/Target Group, and have released 5 successful full length albums “Super Atomic,” “Imaginary Creatures,” “Revenge of Rock,” “Star Spangled Fist Fight,” “Raw Trax B-Sides and Bootlegs” and an EP “Chaos in Copenhagen” to rave reviews around the world.

The single “Crazy” reached #15 on the Danish iTunes rock charts.
“Revenge of Rock” debuted at #6 on the Danish vinyl chart.
“Chaos in Copenhagen” debuted at # 27 on Denmark’s top 100 album sales chart.
